Our team reflected recently on why the development of affordable housing is so important to us. At our core, we are building affordable housing because we want to see people and families with an enhanced quality of life. By developing affordable housing in our community, we help ensure that working families can thrive.

But, housing isn’t our end goal. Our team has repeatedly observed that sustainable life transformation requires a life skills coaching program that helps them look inward before making outward changes. Our coaching curriculum is a gateway that helps clients discover who they are!

What’s to Come: Affordable Housing Development Updates

The Location: 2501 Center Street

The Plan: 

• A new 5-story building with 172 apartments
• 24 row houses with 3-4 bedrooms and 2 stall garages

Our Next Steps:

1. December 2023: Apply for 4% LIHTC allocation
2. April 2024: Anticipated disbursement of LIHTC allocation
3. August 2024: Anticipated closing date & start of construction
